Norris Forrest was a founding member of the Great North of Scotland Railway Association and could be seen on Scottish rail tours sporting the national dress. Norrie left his extensive collection of negatives and slides to the Association who have now loaned them to The Transport Treasury. Our grateful thanks go to the Chairman of the GNSRA Keith Jones, Keith Fenwick and Graham Maxtone for their encouragement and for making Norrie’s negatives available for use.
